SALT WATER FISH CHARTERS

Merchant Marine Capt. Carl Taylor has been fishing commercially for over 50 years. A native New Englander, and over two decades in Southeast Alaska, extensive fishing has made him familiar with with numerous fishing spots near Haines, Alaska. Captain Carl feels his infallible boat handling and fishing experience can lead you to big game fish. King and Silver Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod and Snapper can all regular catches off the F/S Driftwood. Often while trolling for salmon sea run Dolly Varden will entertain your fishing rod until the the true catch hits.
Aboard the FS/ Driftwood, you will enjoy an open deck with comfortable seating, great views and memorable fishing moments. An enclosed cabin, and private head ensure your comfort and enjoyment while you are aboard. Captain Carl specifically does charters for you. When you charter, you get the captain, the boat and any activities that you would like do do. This includes, wildlife viewing, crabbing, fishing, and general sight seeing. Carl's philosophy on the water is to simply "Enjoy the adventure." Because of this type of charter a two person minimum is required to book.
Rates are as follows: half day charter per person is $125.00 and full day is $200.00. All bait, fuel, and tackle are included. Out-of-State residents can get their fishing licenses right on board the Driftwood. All catch can be filleted for you..
